When Soccer Drama Goes Family Feud An Agent’s Candid Take on Mbappé Mama Bear

Kylian Mbappé’s mother sets up agency with her son

Agent of Mbappé’s teammate criticises the move

In June, news broke that Kylian Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari, had started an agency together with her son, with other players like Rayan Cherki also set to become clients. However, this move has not been received positively by the agent of Mbappé’s Paris Saint-Germain teammate and close friend, Achraf Hakimi. Initially, rumours were spreading that Hakimi was going to join Lamari’s agency, but in a recent interview, his agent denied this and criticised the creation of the agency itself, saying:

“We are very surprised that just because she is the mother of an important player, she can interfere in the market. Fayza Lamari is a business that has nothing other than Kylian Mbappé. Her importance on the market is non-existent, she has no experience, no completed deals, and no penetration into the market,” stated Alejandro Camaño.

The future of Kylian Mbappé in doubt

As per reports from L’Équipe, Lamari has been in talks with Rayan Cherki for several months, with an agreement reached recently. However, with just one year left on Mbappé’s contract, PSG has reportedly shown interest in selling him, which could keep Lamari busy this summer.

What do you think about this move by Kylian Mbappé’s mother? Do you believe it was a good idea to start an agency with her son and his fellow teammates?
