When asked about his debut, Veerman responded, “It’s a dream come true, playing for your country. It was a great feeling to finally wear the orange shirt and play alongside such great players.”

Veerman also spoke about his assist, “I saw Donyell [Malen] running into the space, I gave him the ball, and he scored a great goal. It was a really nice moment for me.”
