From Heerenveen to Spain Feyenoord’s New Defensive Lineup

Feyenoord signs defenders from Heerenveen and third tier of Spain

Feyenoord has added two new defenders to their team, one from Dutch club Heerenveen and one from a third tier team in Spain.

The first player, Lucas Woudenberg, is a 26-year-old left-back who has previously played for Feyenoord on loan in the 2014-2015 season. He has signed a three-year contract and is excited to be back with the Rotterdam club.

The second player, Bernardo Espinosa, is a 31-year-old Colombian center-back who has spent the last two seasons with Spanish third tier team, Real Oviedo. Espinosa has signed a one-year contract with the possibility of extension for an additional year.

Feyenoord’s technical director, Frank Arnesen, expressed his satisfaction with the new signings, stating “Lucas is a player who knows Feyenoord and Bernardo is an experienced player who will provide extra quality and leadership to our defense.”

With these new signings, Feyenoord hopes to improve their defensive abilities and contend for the Eredivisie title in the upcoming season.

What do you think of Feyenoord’s new defensive signings? Will they have a positive impact on the team’s performance?
