Beyond the Contract The Untapped Potential of Free Agent Athletes in Zottegem

Nu helemaal hommeles? Thibaut Courtois reageert als door wesp gestoken op uitspraken Tedesco

Thibaut Courtois is not happy with comments made by FC Schalke 04 coach Domenico Tedesco. Tedesco had said in a press conference that he believed Courtois, the Real Madrid goalkeeper, was too “relaxed” and that he could take advantage of this.

In response, Courtois posted a message on social media saying that he was anything but relaxed. He said that he was focused on his job and ready to give his best for Real Madrid.

“I’m not relaxed, I’m focused on my work, always,” he said. “I’m always there for the team and ready to do my best. I don’t know what Tedesco wants to say, but that’s his business.”

Courtois, who signed for Real Madrid in the summer, has been part of a team that has not been in great form recently. The Spanish club is currently fourth in La Liga, eight points behind leaders Barcelona.

Courtois defends himself

Courtois was clearly upset by Tedesco’s comments, and took to Instagram to defend himself.

“I don’t know what you want to say, but I’m always focused and ready for the game,” he said. “I’m a professional and I’m always there for my team.”

Real’s troubles continue

Real Madrid have been struggling recently, with manager Julen Lopetegui facing mounting pressure. The club has won just one of their last seven matches, and the performances of players like Courtois, who was signed for a record-breaking fee of €35 million, have been under scrutiny.

However, the Belgian goalkeeper is keen to prove his worth and help his team turn their fortunes around.

What next for Courtois and Real Madrid?

It remains to be seen how Courtois will respond to Tedesco’s comments in the long-term. However, the goalkeeper has made it clear that he is not going to let criticism affect his performance on the pitch.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will be hoping to bounce back from their recent run of poor form. The question is, can they turn things around and mount a serious challenge for the La Liga title? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure – Courtois will be doing his best to help his team succeed.
